Dayshift: 6a- 3:30p Monday - Thursday; 6a- 10a Friday 

$18/hr + DOE

Are you an experienced painter looking for a new career opportunity? If so, this could be the perfect position for you! A well-established company in Orange City is currently seeking a Paint Operator to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for painting, sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for painting.

Responsibilities:

• Paint a variety of parts according to customer specifications
• Sand, clean, and prepare parts for painting
• Mask non-painted surfaces accurately
• Mix paints and coatings per correct mixing ratios
• Operate paint application equipment, including downdraft spray booths and fresh air systems
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and workspace
• Support other technicians and departments as needed

Requirements:

• Knowledge of adhesives, fillers, primers, and basic paint prep tools
• Familiarity with paint mixing ratios and procedures
• Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications
• Excellent hand dexterity, coordination, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills—must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Dependable with reliable attendance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for long periods
